Women’s Yoga
Yoga for Women is an extraordinary type of yoga described by stringing poses together so that you can easily move having in mind your body and your breath. Yoga for Women is a sequence of asanas (postures) that intelligently flow and are connected together by the breath. Yoga for Women is specifically designed to develop and support women’s health using therapeutic approach to yoga (Special Yoga and Prana Flow). It is extremely nourishing, empowering and re-vitalising working on self-acceptance and contentment. Women’s yoga is a breath initiated practice which links every action of your life and every stage of your menstrual cycle with the intent to move towards what is important. The class flows into a wave motion through cycles of effective, intelligent and always new sequences linked together through the breath-wave.
Starting with stillness and awareness on the breath and on our current state, we always begin the class with identifying and setting an intention/Sankalpa. Asanas, Pranayama (breath work), Hasta Mudra (hand gestures/locks), Bandhas (energetic locks) are brought to the class. To soothe the nervous system, and depending on the time available, the class usually finishes with Savasana (complete relaxation or corpse pose), meditation and Yoga Nidra.

Pregnancy Yoga – Wednesday 6 PM & Mondays 1 PM (in studio)
Slow Flow Yoga – Thursdays 10AM (in studio)
