This granola is so delicious you will want to eat it all the time!
2 cups of oats
2 cups of puffed wheat
1 cup of puffed rice (optional)
1 cup of barley (optional)
Sesame seeds (optional)
1 tbsps Pumpkin seeds
1 tbsp Sunflower seeds
1/2 tbsp Flaxseed
Almonds
Coconut flakes (optional)
Cranberries (or other chopped up dried fruit like figs (good for Kapha as not too sweet) and apricots. If putting dates limit the amount of date syrup)
1-2 cup Coconut oil (melted and mixed with 1 tsp of vanilla and 1 tsp of cinnamon)
1-2 tbsps Date syrup (depending on how sweet you want your granola to be)
1-2 tbsps of water
Pinch of salt (optional)
Pinch of pepper
Mix all and spread evenly on a tray. Bake for 40-45 mins on 120°C. Ensure no spaces between for an even bake. Optional: once baked drizzle with honey and leave to cool down, before transferring into a glass/airtight container.
