Have you ever sprouted your own seeds?
I discovered sprouting in my ‘dealing with menopause’ challenge. It is a new experiment (for me).
Whole sprouted herbs such as red clover, broccoli, mung beans, flax seeds and other hormone rich herbs, are extremely healthy and can help with hot flushes and are very healthy. They are not just full of natural hormones, they help with protein intake and increase the quantity of your ‘5-a day’. 🌱
Sprouts are effortless, easier to digest than cooked legumes, and perfect in just about anything. And you have ready- made salad with your lunch in no time whatsoever!
You can sprout just about any seed! So long as they are organic and good quality! So far I have on the go, Mung beans, aduki beans, flax seeds, Alfa Alfa, Cress, broccoli, red clover, fenugreek, raddish (and mustard seeds are waiting its turn).

Instructions below — hope you try!
1. Rinse the seeds in the cold water in a jar or a food-grade plastic container, soak them in water over night (although you can miss out on the soaking part but they turn out better if you do).

2. Once soaked, drain the seeds and rinse them in cold water again.
3. Lay the jar at an angle in a dark (for mung beans and aduki beans), warmer area (if it’s too cold they won’t sprout, if too warm they may go off).
4. Repeat the rinsing and draining process 2-3 times a day -jars.
5. Some of my seeds are in a container, lined with wet baking paper. This way they remain moist most of the times. I spray them with water, 3 times a day.
6. After sprouting, enjoy them in just about anything.
