Description

Garnet: Strength, Security and Passion

Red Jasper: Physical Strength and Vitality

Rudraksha: Is a seed associated with the Indian Lord ‘Shiva’ who represents ’Ultimate Consciousness’.

The Muladhara Chakra is also known as the Root Chakra and is concerned with physical needs and basic human survival. It is strongly linked to gravity and helps in in remaining grounded. From here our journey starts.

Each crystal bead in this wrist wrap has metaphysical qualities that benefit the wearer.

This bracelet was hand strung by Maha Mala in New Delhi, India in cotton thread with an adjustable Chinese knot. It comes in a Khadi (organic cotton) pouch which is block printed with vegetable dyes and sewn by our friends SEWING NEW FUTURES, an NGO that provides skills training to underprivileged young women in New Delhi.

By buying this product, you support local artisans all around India; support fair trade and believe in non-violence and compassion.

A mala was traditionally seen as a sacred object and not shown to anyone. Today we like to wear and absorb the vibrations of the crystals, but remember that this is still a sacred object. Treat your mala bracelet like you would treat a photo of your teacher, with care and respect.

Maha Mala bracelets are hand knotted on 100% quality thread. We don’t recommend getting your bracelet wet as this will degrade the elastic over time.

Certain crystals will loose colour if placed in direct sunlight. Protect your bracelet in the cloth pouch provided.

Crystals absorb vibrations and it is a good idea to cleanse them once a month either with smoke from incense or by placing your bracelet under the rays of the full moon outside or on the windowsill.
